Daris Estevez, a Brooklyn native, joined The Movement Creative team in 2021. Daris’ classes blend strong technique with flow, or the ability to move through a sequence of linked movements as fluidly as possible. He encourages his students - both youth and adult - to view the obstacles in their environment as movement opportunities, to use their bodies and their imaginations to play on and with those obstacles. Daris, who is also a visual artist, enjoys being active outdoors as much as possible through rock climbing, e-biking, and exploring.
