Past Events

Come celebrate life through movement at our Dia de los Muertos Memorial Jam on November 5th from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at the Riverside Park Parkour Park. Feel free to bring something that reminds you of someone you’ve lost – a treat they liked or an artifact to contribute to an ofrenda*. We won't be running structured sessions – this is just an opportunity for us to all hang out and move together! Besides unlimited self-directed parkour, we will have arts and crafts surprises and lots of chalk for writing and drawing thoughts and memories! Younger siblings are welcome - we will have activities for them.

This is an all-ages, all-skill levels, free event hosted by The Movement Creative. All of our students and all members of the NYC parkour community are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Join us on October 21 at Nelson Rockefeller Park (a.k.a. Battery Park or Penny Park) for the return of Coach Mike’s STICK Street Comp.

Youth Competition: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Adult Competition: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Cash prizes, swag, and the glory of victory. $30 to enter or come spectate and cheer on the competitors.

Line Building + Dynamic Climbing

WITH DARRYL STINGLEY

Saturday, October 15 - Hamilton Fish Park

World-class athlete, activist, and artist Darryl Stingley returns to NYC to lead a special workshop on building lines and climbing. Join him at Hamilton Fish Park for three hours of instruction and training. He will begin with teaching simple skills like pattern mapping that you can apply to any spot, discovering climbs, and scaling challenges. The latter half will ramp up the intensity a bit by focusing on transitions in lines, hand and foot work for rapid climbing, climbing approaches, and ways to stay safe on an ascension.

Darryl is only coaching this workshop for ONE DAY, and spaces are limited. Be sure to reserve a spot now so you don’t miss your chance to learn from him.

MOVE NYC

Friday May 28 - Sunday May 29

After a long, two year hiatus, MOVE NYC is back. We’re cleared for two full days of workshops, jamming, and sunset views on the rooftop of New Design High School. To make up for lost time, we’re making the build bigger and better than ever before.

See what we have planned so far!

3/25 - 3/26 Queen City Fest

Save the dates for Queen City Fest!

Queen City Fest is an event that seeks to build connections and foster a sense of camaraderie among the growing women's community in parkour through a series of workshops and group training sessions led by some of the leaders in this sport. “Queen City” is the name of a documentary featuring exclusively female athletes. It was filmed last summer in Colorado and it is the first-ever parkour film of its kind.

We want women to feel empowered in their movement, bodies, and community, particularly in this male-dominated sport.
